HR Compliance Specialist

Andy Frain Services is currently seeking a HR Compliance Specialist to join our payroll team. This role requires a strong understanding of wage and hour laws and regulations, multi state tax laws, and local regulations. You will be monitoring and identifying compliance requirements applicable to our workforce and assisting our efforts in meeting evolving compliance standards.

Major Responsibilities:

This position will proactively scan the federal, state and local regulatory environment to identify new payroll compliance requirements for all the states in which Andy Frain Services operates and develop the necessary change management plans to implement any new requirements.

Identify upcoming changes in legislation that impact supported areas of the business, ensuring timely implementation of policy or procedure changes to maintain compliance with applicable laws.

Prepare alerts on wage and hour topics to be circulated to all managers, especially in heavy compliance areas (California, Illinois, New York).

Assist with Wage & Hour audits and/or complaints.

Assist in managing garnishments, levies, and child support deductions in accordance with court orders and company policy through ADP full service support.

Assist in managing unemployment claims through ADP full-service support.

Qualifications:

· Payroll background is a must.

· At least three years’ experience working in payroll.

· Expert knowledge of Excel

· Attention to detail.

· Service orientation and collaborative attitude.
